Janty Shoga joined the Gemstone Biotherapeutics team as research engineer in November of 2017. In this role, Janty contributes to the entire portfolio of skin regeneration solutions. He has extensive wetlab, microscopy and prototyping experience. With a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a Master’s degree in biomechanics and movement science from the University of Delaware, Janty’s post-graduate published research involved refining novel correlation spectroscopy techniques for use in quantifying solute diffusion in agarose and cartilage. He is also a skilled technical writer, with professional experience editing engineering manuscripts. Outside of work, Shoga enjoys traveling and playing soccer.
